If your terminal restarts repeatedly - especially right after you enter your login credentials - this is usually caused by a software update issue.
This can happen when:
- A recent app or system update didn’t install correctly
- The terminal’s software has become corrupted
- An incompatible app version was pushed to the device
What to do
- Try restarting the terminal by holding the power button until it shuts down completely, then turning it back on.
- If it continues to reboot in a loop, do not keep trying - the issue requires support intervention.
- Contact Stitch support with your terminal’s serial number.
In most cases, our team can resolve this remotely. If not, we’ll arrange a replacement device while the faulty unit is investigated.
