If your terminal isn’t powering on, there are a few quick things to check before reaching out to support.
- Make sure the device is charged - plug it in using the cable and adapter that came in the box (note: third party cables and adapters may not work)
- Hold the power button for 3 - 5 seconds until the screen lights up
- Try a different power outlet to rule out a faulty socket
- Check that the charging cable is firmly connected at both ends
If the charging indicator light doesn’t appear at all when plugged in, the cable or adapter may be faulty.
Step by step
- Plug the terminal into the charger using the original cable and adapter.
- Wait at least 15 minutes for the battery to build up enough charge.
- Press and hold the power button for 3–5 seconds.
- If the screen doesn’t respond, try a different power outlet.
- If it still won’t turn on, contact Stitch support - your device may need to be replaced.
