Difference between the balances
When a sale is made using Stitch Express, the payment is confirmed immediately, allowing you to dispatch goods right away.
However, your funds will appear across two balances in your dashboard:
Current balance
Your current balance reflects your live transaction activity.
- Updates in real time as purchases are made
- Shows the total value of recent transactions
- Funds in this balance are not yet available for withdrawal
Available balance
Your available balance reflects funds that have been settled by Stitch.
- Includes transactions from the previous day (excluding Sundays and public holidays)
- Updated once funds have settled
- Available for withdrawal to your bank account
How your Stitch Express balance actually works
Your Stitch Express balance is updated daily based on your transaction activity.
Daily settlement timeline
- Each day at 8:00 PM, Stitch reconciles all successful transactions for that day
- These funds will be available in your Stitch Express balance by 11:00 AM the next business day
Important
- Any transactions processed after 8:00 PM will be included in the next day’s batch
Weekend and public holiday processing
Due to banking partner limitations:
- Sunday transactions are credited 48 hours later
- Public holidays may also delay settlement times
Example
If a transaction is processed at 4:00 PM on a Sunday:
- The funds will be available in your balance on Tuesday
What this means for you
- Funds are settled on a daily cycle
- Most transactions are available the next business day
- Transactions on Sundays and public holidays may take longer to reflect
