When you use Shopify POS with Stitch Express, the terminal is connected through the Pay with Stitch tile in the Shopify POS app - it’s not a direct Bluetooth or hardware pairing.
If the terminal isn’t showing up, check the following:
- Both the POS device (tablet/phone) and the terminal are connected to the internet
- You’re selecting the correct store location in Shopify POS
- The terminal has been assigned to your merchant account and store location by Stitch
- The Stitch app is installed on your Shopify store
Step by step
- Open the Shopify POS app on your device.
- Tap the Pay with Stitch tile.
- The app will fetch the list of terminals assigned to your current store location.
- Select the terminal you want to use.
- If no terminals appear, confirm with Stitch Express support that your terminal has been assigned to the correct store location.
