With the Stitch Shopify POS integration, reconciliation is largely automatic. When a customer pays via the terminal, the Shopify order is automatically marked as paid - no manual matching needed.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Each terminal payment is linked to a Shopify order automatically
- Your Stitch Express dashboard shows both online and in-person transactions in one place
- Card-present and card-not-present transactions settle together into a single settlement to your bank account
- Cashier details, store location, and terminal ID are captured with each transaction for reporting
Matching payments to orders
Every transaction processed through the Pay with Stitch tile is tagged with the Shopify order ID. You can view this on your Stitch dashboard and cross-reference it with your Shopify order history.
Tip: If you use the standalone terminal flow (not through Shopify POS), you can enter an order number or customer reference before processing the payment. This reference will appear on your Stitch dashboard for easier matching.
